Pete
is a 17-year-old amateur guitar player with a promising future.
After collapsing while performing on stage, he is told he has cancer
and may not live until his next birthday. While in the hospital,
he is placed next to Jusa, who is full of humour and crazy ideas.
They decide to go to Mombasa on the coast of Kenya.

In
post-apartheid South Africa, a young black street kid known as Wonderboy
(newcomer Kagiso Mtetwa) improbably befriends Kobus (Ian Roberts,
Cry, the Beloved Country), a decorated Afrikaan soldier of the regime
, who is now struggling to find work in the “New South Africa.”
The two embark on a long road trek from Johannesburg to Cape Town.
So begins a journey which moves from mutual antagonism and suspicion
to friendship, as the two companions come to terms with a troubled
past and create an unexpected future. Course language and mature
content.

farmer Zhao Guang was an orphan brought up by his villagers; he
understands what it’s like to be a poor kid without a family.
But recent Chinese reform has turned Zhao into a wealthy man who
wants to give back to the community. Announcing his intention to
become the dad of all orphans, children come flocking to him. Now
he must figure out how he will accommodate so many young lives,
giving them the true filial love they need and deserve.
