The Reel 2 Real International Film Festival is held every year in March at the Roundhouse Community Centre and Tinseltown Cinemas. Last year the festival attracted over 3,000 patrons. Attendance continues to grow about 20% each year. This year we will be screening approximately 40 feature films, documentaries, and shorts from Canada and around the world.
WHY SPONSOR THE REEL 2 REAL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL?
Our mandate is to select films that reflect Vancouver's youth community, allow for multicultural interaction, promote a better understanding of our world, and provide a forum for discussion about relevant issues and concerns. We strive to bring the best available films from around the world.
Ticket sales cover less than 30% of the total expenses of each film festival. We depend on adequate support from sponsors and patrons in order for Reel 2 Real to continue to educate, enlighten, and entertain.

EXPOSURE
A Reel 2 Real sponsorship is a unique advertising opportunity for a local business or organization to contribute to this unique event. More than an advertisement, sponsorship illustrates corporate and social responsibility by contributing to a worthy cultural event.
As a sponsor, your logo will be prominently displayed on all Festival advertising and promotional materials such as the program guide, posters and postcards. The Festival distributes 5,000 program guides throughout Vancouver at various retail outlets, theatres and community centres. Sponsor logos and names are also displayed on the Festival web site and in press releases, advertisements that run in media such as The Georgia Straight, CBC Radio and Television, and newsletters sent to our extensive e-mail list.

The Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth strongly supports the work of Canadian independent filmmakers, and serves to promote the production and distribution of films produced in British Columbia.
TAX DEDUCTIBILITY OF CONTRIBUTIONS
The Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth is produced by the Reel 2 Real: A Celebration of Moving Images for Youth Society, a non-profit registered charity in the province of British Columbia. The Society may issue tax receipts for sponsorships, gifts in kind, and/or donations received in accordance with The Income Tax Regulations related to Canadian Registered Charities.
PROGRAM OPTIONS
The festival has available a number of special events and film themes which require financial support. Sponsors receive special benefits based on their level of sponsorship. The cost of sponsoring a feature film starts at $500 per single screening. We welcome sponsors to work with our organization to create and develop unique ideas and opportunities.
